UMaine Students Rally In Support of GLBT Students 

UMaine students rallied in a show of support for diversity on campus on Wednesday.It’s all part of “Coming Out Week” which celebrates Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered students on campus. It’s a week filled with events including a candle light vigil to make a point about bullying.”The candlelight vigil is to showcase how really bullying is affecting our schools and community and how it’s not just a glbtq issue but it’s a humanities issue in general,” said UMaine student Rebecca Hickman.The vigil will be held on Thursday night at six on the UMaine Mall.
