Congressional candidate Jason Levesque made a campaign stop in Bangor Monday. The Republican is challenging current Representative Mike Michaud in Maine’s Second District.Levesque spoke at his campaign headquarters with members of the Veterans for Levesque coalition. He talked about a number of issues important to our military members, like transitional services and jobs.Levesque says he brings a unique perspective to Washington when it comes to our armed services.”A veteran’s perspective,” says Levesque. “I understand what it’s like to serve on active duty and in the reserves. And come back home. And then try to find a job and build a life after military service. And it’s difficult. And I understand those difficulties and hopefully I can bring that unique perspective to Washington on behalf on all veterans.”This weekend, the Lewiston Sun Journal, Kennebec Journal, Morning Sentinel and Portland Press Herald all endorsed Jason Levesque for Congress.
