Thousands Attend Craft Fair at UMaine

A long-running tradition at the University of Maine is taking place this weekend. It’s the 35th year of the craft fair at the school.200 vendors selling everything from food to metal goods to clothing fill the Field House to show off their items. Traditionally more than 6,000 people attend the weekend-long event and organizers say the fair was designed to have a little something for everyone. “This is something everybody they felt would be interested in and the ladies, when the men were at the football game, a lot of the wives love to come and do something other than the football game. So it seems to work very well,” said Chris Corro, Director of Alumni Programs at the University of Maine. The craft fair runs through Sunday.
