Candidate Visits Local High School 

The campaign trail took Independent candidate for Governor, Eliot Cutler,to high school today.He stopped in at John Bapst High in Bangor.Even though most students are not eligible to vote, Cutler says now is the time to reach out to them about the current affairs happening in Maine.”Mostly it’s because these kids have a stake in the future of the state of Maine, we all do, and I want them to think about it, focus on it, care about it, and I want them to start doing that even if they’re not voting.”You can hear more from Cutler and the rest of the Gubernatorial candidates at a debate in Bangor tonight.It takes place at Husson University’s Gracie Theater from 6-30 to 8.It’s free to get in.
