Swan’s Island Man Sentenced To 3 Years For Vandalism Spree 

A man from Swan’s Island will spend 3 years in prison for his role in a $100,000 vandalism spree.19-year-old James Lemoine was sentenced yesterday in Hancock County Superior Court. Lemoine pled guilty to 30 different charges stemming from the vandalism. Police say he and another man, 19-year-old Roman Cook also of Swans Island, were ice fishing in January on Long Pond in Mount Desert when they broke into buildings and did all that damage.Cook is still in the Hancock County Jail. He’s facing 9 charges including burglary, aggravated criminal mischief, and three counts of theft.
