Apple Pie

8″ pie plateoven 425*backing time 40 to 50 minutes


2 prepared Pie Shells5 cups peeled and sliced apples (mix with 1 tablespoon lemon juice)1/2 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon cinnamonDash of salt1 tablespoon cold butter


Place one sheet of prepare pastry on bottom of pie plateMix together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Mix these with apples andturn into pie shell and dot top with butter.Place other sheet of prepare pastry over top.Seal and flute top pastry to bottom pastryCut slits in top pastryCover edge with 2inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browningof crust.Bake pie for 40 to 50 minutes and remove foil last 15 minutes of baking

Apple Crisp

8×8 baking pan,spray with pan sprayoven 375*time 30 minutes


4 cups of prepared apples2/3 cups packed brown sugar1/2 cup all purpose flour1/2 cup long cook rolled oats1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 cup cold butter


Heat oven to 375* and spray backing panPlace apples in panMix remaining ingredients thoroughly and sprinkle over applesBake for 30 minutes.

Pumpkin Cookies

Cookie sheets covered with baking sheetsoven 350*time 12 to 15 minutes


1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup soft butter1/2 cup unflavored pumpkin1 teaspoon vanilla1 egg1 cup flour1/2 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon nutmeg1/4 teaspoon clovesDash salt1 cup chocolate chips or nuts or raisins


In large bowl combine first 5 ingredients blend wellStir in flour salt baking powder and spicesBlend well and add chipsDrop mixture in rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on baking sheets and bakefor 12 to 15 minutes
