Warren Man Charged with Reckess Conduct After Standoff With Police 

A man from Warren was arrested over the weekend after a standoff with State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Dept.Police were called in when the received reports that Lionel Stover, 50, was drunk and threatening to harm himself.After authorities arrived at the Oyster River Rd. home around 3:30 a.m., Stover allegedly made threats and fired two shots.The Sheriff’s Dept. then evacuated neighbors and called in the State Police Tactical Team.Fortunately, the incident was resolved without injuries. Police seized three firearms, several knives and a bow from the home.Stover is charged with reckless conduct with a firearm.
