New Poll Shows Close Race 

Current polls show a tight race for Maine’s next governor.Conducted by the Maine Center for Public Opinion and paid for my the website Pine Tree Politics, the polls shows republican Paul LePage and democrat Libby Mitchell in a dead heat with LePage pulling in 30% and Mitchell receiving 29%.Independent Candidate Eliot Cutler pulled in 11% of the votes, and independents Shawn Moody and Kevin Scott both received 5% or less.Almost a quarter of voters, 24%, said that they are undecided.The poll questioned about 700 voters and has a margin of error of 4%.
