National Coming Out Day 

The president and vice president of The Bridge Alliance were guests on the TV 5 Morning News Monday.Jeanne Paradis and Greg Music discussed the rally in West Market Square in Bangor tonight, to recognize National Coming Out Day.They specifically want to bring attention to the large number of gay and lesbian suicides and attempted suicides in our country.Out out of 3 gay youth will attempt suicide at least once. 86% of gay youth report some sort of bullying in schools.The Bridge Alliance says the purpose of the rally is to remember these young people, and stand in solidarity for our community, as well as make sure youth know that there is support for them in the Bangor area.Andrew Coate also appeared on the show.
