Maine Hockey Can’t Overcome Great Game from UConn Goalie 

The start of the hockey season could not have gone much better for UMaine. A 5-1 win over Acadia last Sunday was just an appetizer before last night’s eight-two goalfeast against UMass Lowell. Maine retake the lead this time it’s 3-2.Just under seven minutes to play, UConn come back and tie it a second time. Sean Ambrosie with the goal. We’re tied at three and heading to overtime.In OT, UConn goalie Garrett Bartus was a wall. A terrific performance tonight. He faced 43 shots, made 40 saves. Maine can’t get a game winner. This one ends in a 3-3 tie.
