Citizenship Ceremony Welcomes 24 New Americans 

There are 24 new United States citizens, all officially welcomed to the country at a citizenship ceremony in Bangor Friday morning.Judge John Woodcock explained to the men and women that by earning their citizenship they are continuing tradition, for the history of the United States is a history of immigration.The 24 new Americans come from 14 countries and are all thrilled to now call themselves Americans.” Oh it feel great. Yes, this the most happy day of my life,” said Nicolas Lux Soc, a new citizen. Katie Li, also a part of the ceremony, agrees, ” I am really excited to be a United States citizen. It’s exciting and freedom.”Citizens we spoke with said one thing they are looking most forward to is voting in November’s election.
