Alternative Pathways to Success for Students at Penobscot Job Corps 

The folks at Penobscot Job Corps in Bangor are trying to make the transition from high school to the work force a little easier for their students.Today they invited some of their community partners to discuss what they’re calling alternative pathways to success.Officials from local high schools, the University of Maine, and local employers like Cianbro were on hand.The group discussed new ideas to help students get from high school into the workforce with the training they need as fast as possible.The Penobscot Job Corps offers programs in fields ranging from culinary arts to carpentry and welding.
