Accelerate Maine 2010 

A two-day business conference kicked off in Bangor Friday morning.Accelerate Maine 2010 is the first state-wide business conference geared towards business owners, professionals and decision makers invested in the economy.The conference consists of 46 sessions across 6 tracks, all with the goal of helping professionals learn new skills and network. ” As we develop ourselves we can accelerate our industry’s, our economy and move forward,” said Cinitia Miranda, Managing Director of Pulse Marketing in Bangor.Keynote Speaker, Catherine Renauld , the Director of the Office of Innovation says she was excited when asked to be a part of Accelerate 2010, “It’s really about all Maine businesses and all Maine organizations including state government innovating, trying new ideas, trying new ways of doing things, new business models, new marketing to really jump start our economy and really move to the next level.”Organizers say they hope to bring back the event next year.
