Jury Deliberations Begin in Twardus Trial

A jury is expected to begin deliberations in the trial of a New Hampshire man charged with murdering his former fiance three years ago.Jason Twardus, 29, is accused of strangling Kelly Gorham, 30, at her apartment in Alfred, then burying her body on his father’s property in New Hampshire. The prosecution says there’s video of Twardus at a convenience store near the burial site and his fingerprints were found on pictures left in the grave. The defense says Twardus was asleep when Gorham disappeared and can’t be responsible for her murder. Prosecutors say Twardus lived with Gorham for two years before she broke off their engagement about two months before her death.
