Nearly 100 people attended a workshop in Bangor Thursday afternoon focusing on putting together grants. The National Endowment for the Arts conducted the free workshop in an effort to raise awareness of federal funding that’s available to arts and cultural institutions in Maine. The goal is to let folks know about the opportunities available to them.Organizers say the community response is greater than expected.”We are overwhelmed, but very happy.
