Bangor Man Indicted By Penobscot County Grand Jury 

A 25-year-old Bangor man who allegedly fired a gun in the direction of police at his grandmother’s house in Holden, has been indicted by a Penobscot County Grand Jury.Daniel Day is charged with armed robbery, aggravated reckless conduct with a firearm, and criminal mischief.His attorney told a judge Day is an Army Veteran and a diagnosed schizophrenic.According to Holden police, a family member called police last month, saying Day had numerous guns and was distraught.Police say when they approached Day, shots were fired in their direction. He eventually surrendered.
