Second Man Sentenced for Fire at Former Gardiner Mill

The second of two men charged with setting fire to an abandoned paper mill in Gardiner has admitted to the crime and is going to prison.21-year-old Joshua Lund of Gardiner pleaded guilty to arson Tuesday and was sentenced to a year-and-a-half behind bars.He was also ordered to pay $5,000 restitution. Last Septemner, Lund and 20-year-old Jack Downs started a fire that destroyed part of the former Yorktowne Paper Mill.Downs pleaded guilty in July. He was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.
