Like medical equipment and supplies.That was the focus for state and local emergency management agencies as they met in Augusta today. They heard from the nation’s leading expert on responding to major disasters.Kevin Dinnin is president of BCFS, a global health and human services organization serving people affected by crisis throughout the world.Most recently, FEMA contracted with Dinnin to create national guidelines for sheltering folks with handicaps and special medical needs.Staffing in shelters is a need Dinnin also talked about.
