Fort Knox Hosts Medieval Fair 

Fair maidens and dashing knights crowded the Fort Knox castle for the ninth annual Medieval Festival this weekend.Costumed members of the Society for Creative Anachronism and the Canadian maritimes sang traditional medieval music throughout the day Saturday.The S.C.A. is an international organization that re-creates the arts and skills of pre-17-th century Europe.Medieval weapons were also on display and several knights put on a tournament for visitors.Leon Seymour is the Executive Director of Friends of Fort Knox. He says the event continues to grow each year. “I can tell you that in terms of all the events we do, ranging from Civil War re-enactments to Pirate Days.
