Maine Football Preps for Saturday’s Game With Monmouth 

The Black Bears could not get anything going on offense last Thursday, losing to Albany for the second year in a row. With a couple extra days to get ready for this weekend’s game, the Black Bears are focused on putting the last week’s 3-0 loss behind them.This Saturday’s matchup is on the road against another NEC school. This time Monmouth. In last week’s game against Albany, Black Bear running back Jared Turcotte suffered a bruise on his hip that caused him to be taken out for a portion of the game. Maine head coach Jack Cosgrove is certain that Turcotte will be ready for Saturday.Jack Cosgrove – Maine Head Coach”He had a significant bruise there after the game, it’s tender and its gotten better over the last few days. We eased him back in Saturday, Sunday and he’s going to be ready to play. I’m pretty darn sure of that.”
