Gasoline Prices Rise In Maine, But Supplies Are At A Record Level 

The average price per gallon of gasoline has risen by 0.1 cents in the past week.According to, the average price of gasoline per gallon statewide was up to $2.67. This is in comparison to the national average which actually fell by 0.2 cents per gallon this past week, to $2.68.Patrick DeHaan, petroleum analyst, indicates that gasoline supplies at the end of the summer driving season is at its highest levels since records began in 1990. Therefore, there will be a lot of pressure for prices to fall.
