Gasoline Prices Rise In Maine, But Supplies Are At A Record Level

The average price per gallon of gasoline has risen by 0.1 cents in the past week.According to MaineGasPrices.com, the average price of gasoline per gallon statewide was up to $2.67. This is in comparison to the national average which actually fell by 0.2 cents per gallon this past week, to $2.68.Patrick DeHaan, petroleum analyst, indicates that gasoline supplies at the end of the summer driving season is at its highest levels since records began in 1990. Therefore, there will be a lot of pressure for prices to fall.
