Lobster Goes Up In Smoke 

Three tons of lobster have gone up in smoke after a fire consumed a storage building in Rockland Sunday afternoon.Firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours before extinguishing it.The industrial park warehouse was being used by a lobster company owned by Linda Bean, the granddaughter of L.L. Bean, who has a business called Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine.Bean reported that she had lost about 6,300 pounds of lobster and some equipment in the fire.Rockland’s fire chief says the fire was accidental and caused by an electrical problem. No injuries were reported.
