Bangor Hydro Sees Less Than 200 Outages

Bangor Hydro was prepared for the worst case scenario with the storm.Susan Faloon, spokeswoman for Bangor Hydro, says they saw less than 200 outages in their service area Saturday morning.Bangor Hydro was expecting to be dealing with thousands of customers out of power. Faloon says they wanted to be safe, rather than sorry.” We certainly wouldn’t want to have to rally the crews at the last minute, so we had folks on stand-by and we were able to let some of those folks go once we found out that the storm wasn’t going to be as severe as we originally anticipated,” said Faloon.Bangor Hydro is also staying in close contact with Nova Scotia Power to give them assistance if they need it.
