Governor Baldacci wants us to know state emergency management is ready for whatever Hurricane Earl throws our way.In a press conference Thursday afternoon at MEMA headquarters the Governor stressed that the waves, water and power are the critical things to consider.He says the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, has already repositioned staff.And the Governor says all applicable agencies in the state, private and public, have coordinated their response and communications.Baldacci says the next eighteen hours are going to be critical.” We’re asking our citizens to use caution, especially with the big currents and the waves.
