Two Men Arrested in Border Patrol Checkpoint Out of Jail 

Two men accused of stashing more than 100-pounds of pot in a pickup truck are out of jail. 46-year-old Louis Bailey of Wells and 43-year-old Roland Daggett of Portsmouth, New Hampshire were arrested last week in Old Town. They were stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on I-95.Authorities say 101-pounds of marijuana was found hidden in Bailey’s truck.Both men appeared at a detention hearing in federal court in Bangor Wednesday.Bailey was released on $5,000 unsecured bail, Daggett on $10,000. Another court date has not been set yet.
