Agricultural Forum for Gubernatorial Candidates 

Four of the five candidates to be our next governor will be speaking in Augusta on Tuesday.The forum is being held by the Agriculture Council of Maine. It will be held at the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine facility at 205 Church Hill Road off of Rt 3, and is open to the public.Topics will include what will the candidates do to assist the Maine dairy industry, and how to improve the agricultural and natural resource businesses in Maine.Each candidate has been given 45 minutes to make their presentations.Independent Shawn Moody will be the first speaker at 9:00 a.m., democrat Libby Mitchell speaks at 9:45, republican Paul LePage is slated for 10:30 and independent Eliot Cutler is at 11:15.there will be a light lunch buffet served at noon.
