Two Killed in Southern Maine Crash 

Two people are dead after the car they were riding in crashed into trees after being stopped by police.It happened just after 1 o’clock Sunday morning on Route 11 in Casco.The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy sheriff tried to stop the vehicle for going too fast.The car pulled over after about a mile, but then took off at a high rate of speed, traveling out of the officer’s site.The car was found crashed into trees about 2 miles up the road.Two male passengers, a juvenile and an adult, were dead at the scene.The driver was taken to Maine Medical Center by Life Flight.
