Former Bangor High Pitcher Suspended 50 Games by Minor League Baseball 

Former Bangor High School star and major league pitcher Matt Kinney has been suspended 50 games for drug violations. He was penalized under the Minor League Drug Program after testing positive for amphetamines. Kinney last pitched in the majors in 2005. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox out of Bangor High in 1995. He is currently playing with the Giants’ Triple-A team in Fresno, California.
