Inmate Found Guilty of Holding Prison Worker and Inmate Hostage 

The case of a Maine State Prison inmate accused of kidnapping and assault at the prison has been found guilty on all counts.Michael Chasse is on trial in Rockland, representing himself.Prosecutors say Chasse held a prison worker and an inmate hostage for seven hours in June of 2008.Thursday, Chasse said he told the prison worker she got herself into the situation and had she stayed seated like he asked, he never would have done anything to her.He said he told her he had planned a killing spree and he was filled with anger that had been building for years.The judge had put a time limit on Chasse’s testimony, forcing him to wrap up.
