Richards Found Not Guilty 

A homeless man accused of trying to rob a bank in Corinth was found not guilty by a jury Thursday afternoon.Jerome Richards, 25, was sentenced to time served to two lesser charges that he pleaded guilty to.Richards was arrested in June when an off duty trooper saw him walking toward the entrance of the Maine Savings Federal Credit Union wearing a black hoodie backwards, with eyeholes cut out, and black latex gloves.When Richards spotted the trooper, he took off.Police tracked Richards down, and say they found the sweatshirt, the gloves and b.b. guns in his vehicle.
