Updated 4 years ago

The host team, Bangor will need three wins to make the final four in this 10 team tournament. They already have two of them, but the toughest teams in their pool are yet to come. Maine’s next game is tomorrow at five. The two teams that Bangor has yet to play, played each other this morning. The teams from New Jersey and Texas had an extra inning affair. That’s good news for Bangor too as it may have used up some available pitching for those teams. Both teams winning their openers. The Southwest team and defending World Champs from Houston fighting from behind.Bradley Schlabach singles to left and that scores his brother Caleb. The game is all tied at four in the 5th.But the US East team from New Jersey kept coming up with answers. Here Andrew Biggs picks up one of his three hits as well as one of his three RBI’s. Vaughn Watson comes in to score. It took ten innings but the New Jersey boys finally pulled out a 9-8 win. They’ll play against Bangor tomorrow at 5:00.
