Norridgewock Airport Gets Grant

The Central Maine Airport of Norridgewock is getting a $107,000 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. The money will be used to research how runway obstruction removal affects nearby wetlands. This is a two step process. First off, they will need to assess the impact the project will have on area wetlands. Then, they will identify the obstructive objects that need removal. The airport will then use the method of removal that has the least environmental impact.
