State Representative from Southern Maine Arrested 

A state representative is facing o.u.i. charges, following a crash on Interstate 295 in Freeport early Sunday morning.25-year-old Sean Flaherty of Scarborough, suffered multiple cuts on his face and hands in the crash.State Police say blood was drawn from Flaherty because a breathalyzer test could not be done.Flaherty told authorities he was driving in the southbound lane of the Interstate when he swerved to miss an animal.His vehicle reportedly bounced off a guard rail, overcorrected, went off the road, hit an embankment, went onto the pavement, and the vehicle flipped on its roof. Flaherty refused to be taken to a hospital after the crash.He was released on $60 bail.
