Classic cars will be on display for all to see tomorrow at the third annual New England School of Metalwork Car Show and Open House in Brewer. Organizers are expecting about 100 classic cars to roll in. There will also be a welding display put on by Hypertherm professionals, using their mobile weld training center. There will be a silent auction, and concessions throughout the day.All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit Camp CaPella.Dana Mosher, Executive Director of Camp Capella says, “At Camp Capella we have children and adults with physical disabilities. We don’t turn anyone away for lack of funding. Camp Capella is completely supported by the community. What this does, is it sends kids to camp, and that’s what this is about.”The show opens to the public at 8:00am. It’s being held at the Maine Oxy outlet in Brewer.Owners can register their classic cars for the car show and competition starting at 7:00am. There is a $5.00 fee.All makes and models are welcome. Judging begins at 11:00am and awards will be presented at 1:00pm.Welding demonstrations will run from 9:00am to Noon.
