Maine Lobster Festival Kicks of in Rockland 

The Maine Lobster Festival kicked off in Rockland today at noon.And the line for lobster was a long one right from the start.Festival President, Tim Carroll says the festival averages between 50 and 60-thousand people.And they have more than 20-thousand pounds of lobster on hand.Carroll says he hopes they have even more folks this year.He says it’s a family fun event.You’ll find craft vendors, tasty food and there’s stuff for kids too.They can climb a rock wall or bounce around…The festival brings folks back to Rockland year after year, something that festival organizers like to hear.
