Missing Boy’s Father Charged with Growing Pot 

A pilot with the Maine Warden Service is being credited with spotting a 3-year old boy from Vienna who wandered away from his home Sunday afternoon. Ben Lehr was reported missing about 2:30 by his father.He was found about two hours later.Officials say pilot Dan DeFault spotted Ben in tall grass about 100 yards from his home. While on the scene of the search, police say they found a marijuana growing operation at the home of Jonathan Lehr, the child’s father.Police say they confiscated 147 pot plants, a quarter pound of dried marijuana, and growing equipment. Jonathan Lehr is charged with marijuana cultivation, criminal possession of marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a child. The Department of Human Services is investigating.
