Pedestrian Struck and Killed 

Police in Windham are looking for help identifying a man killed Saturday afternoon , along the Windham-Westbrook townline.Police say the man was walking along River Road around 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, when it appears he stepped out into the path of an on-coming car, heading south into Westbrook.Investigators say the drive, Paul Cady, from Westbrook did stop. The man who was hit was taken to Maine Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.Police had to shut down River Road in Windham and Cumberland Street in Westbrook for several hours as they worked the scene.Police still have not identified the victim.Police say the victim was male, in his late 40’s, early 50’s, longish brown hair with a beard showing partial gray.He was wearing an orange, “Orioles” baseball hat.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Windham Police Department.
