Electronic Recycling in Bangor 

Folks had a chance to get rid of their electronic junk in Bangor Saturday.The Challenger Learning Center partnered with E-Waste Solutions out of Auburn.The company accepts universal waste, and disposes of it safely and for free.Organizers say lots of folks took advantage of Saturday’s event.”We have seen giant tv sets, we’ve seen really, really old fax machines, stereo equipment from times gone by. It’s been really interesting to see the variety of things coming in today,” said Susan Jonason, Executive Director of the Challenger Learning Center.E-Waste Solutions holds recycling drop-offs like this all across the state.The Challenger Learning Center also used the event as a fundraiser and a way to talk to people about its mission of inspiring students about science and math.
