Man Accused in Flight Diversion Pleads Not Guilty 

The Florida man accused of acting up on an international flight that was forced to divert to Bangor pleaded not guilty Wednesday.27-year-old Derek Stansberry was arraigned in a federal courtroom in Bangor. He’s accused of interfering with flight crew members, giving false information and making threats on a Paris-to-Atlanta flight last April.Prosecutors say he handed a note to a flight attendant saying he had a fake passport, and reportedly told federal air marshals he’d brought dynamite on board.Stansberry is free on 20-thousand dollars bail and is expected to return to his home in Florida, under bail conditions including electronic monitoring.His trial is scheduled for September.
