Farmington Mourns Passing of PD Chief 

The town of Farmington is mourning the loss of Police Chief Richard Caton.Caton died Sunday morning due to complications from leukemia.He was diagnosed with the illness in 2008.A resident of Strong, the 52-year-old was the Chief of Police for the town of Farmington since 1998.His obituary says Caton loved to hunt, fish, and landscape.Full honorary police services will be held at one o’clock Saturday at Mount Abram High School in Salem.Visitation will be from 10am until noon.Caton is survived by his wife, three children, and five grandchildren.
