Senior League District Tournament in Bangor 

Its less than four weeks away.The senior league world series will celebrate its 9th year here in Eastern Maine.Teams have already begun to qualify. There will be more slots filled in the next few weeks.The local district three tournament began today. This is the Bangor team playing against Hermon on Monday.Cody Savage pitching for the Bangor 16 year old team. Eight teams will be battling this week to earn a spot in the tournament and be the host team. With the bases loaded Adam King gets hit and Jesse Wood comes in to score.Bangor has been the host team six times in the eight years of the event here.Bangor wins 14-2. Orono-Veazie stopped Holbrook 12-2 earlier Monday. In the evening Brewer got by Sebasticook 7-3.And the last game was Old Town 12, Hampden 4.
