Sounds of Gun Shots Lead to Standoff in Bangor 

A Bangor man is behind bars this, after a police standoff Wednesday night.Police tell TV-5 they received several phone calls a little before 9 p.m., of shots being fired from a home on Center street.Officers called the man they believed responsible for the gunfire.On the phone, he reportedly started making threats about shooting people, including police.At that point, authorities called in the tact team.Sgt. Jeff Millard told TV-5 that tear gas was thrown into the apartment, and the suspect came out the back door to surrender.He was not injured.44-year old Donald Michaud is facing three felony charges including terrorizing, creating a police standoff and violation of bail conditions.He also has arrest warrants out of Aroostook county.
