Skowhegan’s Third Annual Bike Night is ready to roll. The event is set for Saturday in Downtown Skowhegan. Motorcyclists are encouraged to come show off their wheels. Music will be in the air too, with three bands playing into the night.A beer tent will be set up and bike merchandise will be on sale. Most of the events will start at four, but a 90-mile biker ride begins at two.”The first year was more of a parade around Skowhegan and people said we want it longer so then we had it go in Norridgewock, Madison, and Skowhegan last year and people said oh no we want it much longer and so this year we expanded it and what we’re really hoping for is biker’s and stuff will see the ride and want to join in and make their way up for 4 o’clock.” Said Cory King, Skowhegan Chamber Director.Some events are taking place on Madison Avenue earlier in the day.Skowvegas Tattoos will be setting up children’s activities including a water slide, bounce house and dunk tank. Cherier’s Restaurant will also be offering an outdoor menu throughout the day.
