Kids Experience Watercolor Magic in Bangor

Some kids got to have a magical experience in downtown Bangor Sunday afternoon. The Maine Discovery Museum put on secret animal watercolors for the kids.Staff members drew animals on white paper using white crayon. When kids painted over the paper with watercolors, the animals magically appeared.”The kids really seem to like it. Actually we don’t really remember what animals we painted on the paper, so we are just as surprised as the kids when the little elephants, snakes, and turtles appear on the paper,” said Trudi Plummer, Director of Education at the Maine Discovery Museum. The Discovery Museum has events going on throughout the summer.Summer camps are also being run through the second week in August. There is still space available in some of the camps.Scholarships are also available.
