Ormsby Held Without Bail 

A man from Maine charged with stabbing three people to death in Amity last month made his first court appearance in New Hampshire Tuesday, via video conference. 20-year old Thayne Ormsby, of Orient, was arraigned Tuesday in a Rochester, New Hampshire courtroom by video conference from the Strafford County Jail. He did not have a lawyer.Police arrested Ormsby Friday in Dover, New Hampshire on charges of being afugitive from justice from Maine.Ormsby is charged in the stabbing deaths of 55-year-old JeffreyRyan, Ryan’s 10-year-old son Jesse, and 30-year-old Jason Dehahn atJeffrey Ryan’s home in the town of Amity, just south of Houlton.Ormsby is being held without bail in New Hampshire.An extradition hearing is set for July 16 in Dover.
