State Police Looking for Witnesses to LaGrange Motorcycle Crash

If you were near Route 16 in LaGrange Sunday morning, State Police would like to talk to you.That’s where a Milo man crashed his motorcycle.71-year old Robert Curtis told authorities he was travelling south, when he swerved to avoid a car pulling out of the LaGrange Full Gospel Assembly Church.Curtis’ bike hit the dirt shoulder of the road and he lost control.The 2010 Harley Davidson slid on the pavement for about 100 yards.Curtis was found by a passer-by in the middle of the road.He was taken to Mayo Regional Hospital, where he was treated and released.The car Curtis swerved to miss never stopped.Curtis told police he doesn’t remember much about the vehicle, except that it was possibly yellow in color.Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call State Police in Orono at 866-2121.
