Brewer 4th of July Pancake Breakfast 

Folks from the Bangor Kiwanis Club were busy in Brewer this afternoon. They were setting up at the Brewer Auditorium for their annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast.The Kiwanis Club has been doing the breakfast as a fundraiser for more than 25 years. All the money raised stays in the Bangor area. The Kiwanis support many children’s charities.Today they were setting up tents and grills outside, and putting tables up inside.Several area business have donated food for the event.”We have fresh pancakes and fresh strawberries from Tate’s. Dunkin Donuts has donated coffee to us. So we’ll have coffee, and Garelick Farms has donated milk and chocolate milk,” says Ann Richards, Bangor Kiwanis Club President.The pancake breakfast is being held at the Brewer Auditorium on July 4th. It starts at 6:00am and runs until 10:00am. Adults are $4.50, and kids get in for $3.50. They hope to raise $4,000 at the breakfast this year.
