One of the newest places to shop in Hermon celebrated its grand opening Saturday morning.The ribbon was cut at the Hermon True Value at Danforth Plaza on Route 2. The 10,000 square foot shop is the fifth business to move into the Hermon shopping center since 2007.It’s the second hardware store owned by Tom Tillson and his partner, Richard Pfirman. They also run Tillson True Value in Dexter.The co-owners say the new store has something for everyone. “It’s geared primarily to the woman shopper. It’s very friendly, it’s very clean, easy to get around, has a nice selection of merchandise, and we think it will be a perfect fit for this community,” said Richard Pfirman, co-owner of Hermon True Value.Hermon True Value is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00a.m. until 3:00p.m.The store currently employs about 10 people.
