Small Town Shocked By Triple Homicide 

Around 9:30 Wednesday night, a 911 call was received from a man at a home on Route 1 in Amity.”He entered the residence, looking for his son, and he ultimately located the 10-year-old boy,” said Lt. Gary Wright of the Maine State Police.That boy was Jesse Ryan.When police arrived, they also discovered the bodies of two men. Jesse’s dad, 55-year-old Jeffrey Ryan, and 30-year-old Jason Dehahn.All three the victims of a stabbing.Police are now searching for the person or persons responsible.”We’ve truly had at least 20 investigators working around the clock since this started,” said Lt. Wright.The deaths are the talk of the small town.Many people we spoke with say they are shocked and scared.”If it’s just some crazy random killing then our kids might be in danger. We don’t want to leave them alone,” said Julie Libby, a concerned parent. Police say they understand folks are worried, but want the public to be assured, they are doing everything they can to find the person or persons responsible.”We’ve taken a lot of steps to reach out to law enforcement not only in the state of Maine, not only in Aroostook County, but nationwide and internationally,” said Lt. Wright.Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a blue and silve Ford F 150 truck that is missing from the scene.
