It’s Strawberry Season!Jackie Conn from Weight Watchers has some recipes for you.Strawberries for breakfast, lunch, and dessert!Strawberry Breakfast SundaePOINTS value: 2Ingredients1/2 cup(s) fat-free cottage cheese1/4 cup(s) plain fat-free yogurt2 tsp SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener (or other artificial sweetener)1/2 tsp vanilla extract1/2 cup(s) strawberries (or raspberries or blueberries: sliced)InstructionsCombine cottage cheese, yogurt, Splenda and vanilla in a small bowl.Spoon into a tall glass and top with berries.Cottage Cheese Salad with Strawberries and CucumberRip up a head of Romaine lettuce and put into a salad bowlwith a few slices of cucumber,2 chopped scallions1 cup halved strawberries.Pile onto 2 plates andheap 1 cup of low-fat cottage cheese on top of each.Sprinkle with finely grated lemon rind, lemon juice and ground black pepper.POINTS values per serving: 4.Strawberry Split!For each person, halve a small banana lengthwaysspoon in 1/2 cup of light vanilla ice cream.Top with 1 cup sliced strawberriesspoon over 1/4 cup fresh Strawberry Sauce (below)POINTS values per serving: 4.Fresh Strawberry SaucePut 1 3/4 cups strawberries into a blender or food processor and blitzfor 15-20 seconds.Pass through a nylon sieve to remove the seeds (if you want to) thenadd a little powdered sweetener if necessary.
